In our series “History Showcase” we regularly offer on each last Thursday of the month a lecture concerning the topics of archaeology or city history. National and international experts from various disciplines present their current projects, research and results to the public, showing exclusive picture material and footage of their latest discoveries. This time, on February 27th 2020, 6 pm, Kay-Peter Suchowa, excavating archaeologist of the Archaeological Museum Hamburg, will talk about “The work of archaeologists in Hamburg” and give some information about his currents work.


The lecture will be in German. Unless otherwise stated, the events take place Thursdays at 6 PM in the ArchaeoLOGICUM in the Archaeological Permanent Exhibition at Harburger Rathausplatz 5, 21073 Hamburg.
