GLADIATORS SPECIAL EXHIBITION LECTURE

 

In our series “History Showcase” we regularly offer on each last Thursday of the month a lecture concerning the topics of archaeology or city history. National and international experts from various disciplines present their current projects, research and results to the public, showing exclusive picture material and footage of their latest discoveries. This time, on May the 28th 2020, 6 pm, Dr. Frank Hildebrandt will talk about “Spectaculum Gladiatorium – From the origin to the great arenas of Rome” matching the special exhibition.

 

The lecture will be in German. Unless otherwise stated, the events take place Thursdays at 6 PM in the ArchaeoLOGICUM in the Archaeological Permanent Exhibition at Harburger Rathausplatz 5, 21073 Hamburg.
